Cooking Classes are back for 2022! We have two venues: Friday's at 3 PM for 60-90 minutes with Chef  Mary and Weekend Dinner Party Classes with Chef Judy starting at 6 PM, (and one Judy Brunch.)

Whether you call it “Hygge” or “Koeslig”, the Scandinavian cultures have food traditions to make you feel warm and cozy all over. (Our salmon will be flown in and fresh from our friends at Fortune Fish.)

Inspired by recipes and wisdom of Beth Dooley’s “Perennial Kitchen” cookbook.  We are increasingly aware of the need to eat local, sustainable, organic foods.  Sourcing ingredients that build soil and reward those farmers and growers who steward the land can heighten pleasure in what we cook and eat.  Our menu will feature many of these nourishing foods that are available close to home:

 

Roasted Vegetable Hummus w/ Homemade Rye Crackers

Creamy Wild Rice-Mushroom Soup

Spinach Salad with Garlic-Mustard Vinaigrette

Braised Grass-fed Brisket with Spiced Cabbage and Horseradish Mashed Potatoes

Maple-Yogurt Panna Cotta with Berry Compote
