Weekend Dinner Party Classes with Chef Judy starting at 6 PM.

Fresh Herbs -$55

This is a Happy Hour class with Chef Mary and includes one tasting of wine. Additional wine/beverage available for a fee.

 

Adding fresh herbs to any recipe is one of the best ways to enhance a recipe and make it unique, but how do we know which herbs work best for which recipe? Some herbs can withstand heat and some need to be added at the end of a recipe as a finisher. This class will explore the world of herbs. Tuscan Herb Salt with go home with you at the end of the class and Garlic Tarragon Pasta will be served for the class...along with an herb lemonade.

Summer Pasta Salads -$45

This is a Happy Hour class with Chef Mary and includes one tasting of wine. Additional wine/beverage available for a fee.

 

Not all pastas are created equally and we will highlight the differences and how it can impact your recipe.

Chef Mary demonstrates and samples both warm and cold pasta salads that come together quickly for any meal. Included in the class are simple sauce recipes you can use for many purposes!

Guaranteed to pleasantly surprise even those that think soup needs to be hot. And a lovely new starter or appetizer for summer entertaining.   You will enjoy gazpacho with shrimp, salad and french baguette at the class!

Learning French Wine

Experience France at The Palate French Wine tasting class with wine educator Sara Bowler. Six wines from different regions and beautiful cheese and charcuterie pairings.

 

 France is the birthplace of the most noble grape varieties we know today. In this French wine class a small group will taste six French wines, handpicked by Sara, from small producers. Sara will guide the class through the French wines, the grapes in each wine and the regions in France where they are grown. Each guest will receive a packet of information that includes a class outline complete with maps of the regions.

Homemade Chicken Stock -$55

This is a Happy Hour class with Chef Mary and includes one 3oz glass of wine.

Additional wine/beverage available for a fee. Our sommelier will chose one special wine to pair with the menu as a choice. 

Chicken stock is the essential base for many recipes and a lovely addition to others. It is the cornerstone for many nostalgic tastes and smells and made correctly, it will add richness and complexity to your creation. 

Learn how to make this essential ingredient and enjoy a seasonal soup with salad and baguette.

 

September 23rd

Homemade Tomato Soup -$55

Friday, September 23rd, 2022 3:00pm

This is a Happy Hour class with Chef Mary and includes one 3oz glass of wine.

Additional wine/beverage available for a fee. Our sommelier will chose one special wine to pair with the menu as a choice. 

The seasons tomatoes are ripe and ready to enjoy! Chef Mary will be making a rich creamy tomato soup two different ways! Grilled gourmet cheese sandwich will be accompanying our soup. Come to Stockholm, gather in our kitchen and enjoy learning how to make this crowd pleasing duo and of course enjoy eating it!
