JANUARY 21:  “BON GIORNO” ITALIAN BRUNCH

Join us for a casual brunch, Italian-style; wear your comfy clothes or pj’s to help set the scene!

Crostini with Sun-dried Tomato Tapenade

“Italian Flag” Salad

“Bacon & Egg” Linguine

Sautéed Green Beans with Pine Nuts

Polenta Cake with Wine-Poached Pears



FEBRUARY 11:  WINTER FRUITS AND VEGETABLES

We think of winter as a “lean” time in the produce department, but actually there are many fruits and vegetables that are truly “in season” right now.  Here’s a dinner that celebrates this bounty:

Menu:

Crispy Kale

Smoky Two-Potato Soup

Stir-Fried Carrot and Cabbage “Salad”

Sautéed Pork Tenderloin Medallions with Orange & Fennel Relish

Pan-Roasted Winter Vegetables

Winter Fruit Parfait


MARCH 24th:  SOUP&SALAD—TOGETHER!

Can’t decide on one or the other—how about both?  Combining soup and salad together in the same bowl provides a lovely counterpoint of temperatures, textures and tastes.  Give these a try:

Menu:

Vietnamese Beef –Noodle Soup (Pho) with Asian Table Salad

Carrot-Ginger Soup with Minted Carrot Salad

Ribollita (Italian Vegetable-Bean Soup) with Spinach Salad

Mexican Pork & Hominy Soup (Posole) with Radish Salad


APRIL 18th:  AN AMERICAN MASALA

Masala is a Hindi term for spice.  This Indian-inspired menu will show you how to “spice up” easy-to-find supermarket staples.

Menu:

Yellow Split Pea Soup with Coriander and Caramelized Onion

Indian Chopped Salad

Black Pepper Chicken

Tomato-Rice Pilaf

Pineapple-Mango Sorbet with Cardamom Biscuits


MAY 23:  OUR ANNUAL FORAGED FOODS DINNER

Menu: to be determined, based on availability of ingredients


Classes begin at 6:30 and end around 9:30 (with the exception of brunch in Jan) and are limited to 14 people.

Wine pairings and tasting are included 

All classes are $75 per person.  Call 715-442-6400 for reservations. We require payment for the class and phone number to save your spot. Classes are transferable, not refundable once you make your reservation. We are looking forward to seeing you in class!
